Kickstart your Spring Garden this Winter

Have you ever been frustrated with starting a garden? Planted tomatoes only to have them develop bottom rot? Maybe you're looking to increase the diversity of vegetables that you are growing for health reasons. Or you might want to know how to grow enough of the right kinds of things so that you can start canning them. Whatever your questions, we will help you take the guesswork out of creating a raised bed garden.

Join us in the greenhouse for 2 classes that will help you get your garden started on the right foot.

Perfect for first-time gardeners or those new to raised bed gardening!

In the first session we will discuss all of the options for raised bed gardening and help you decide which one will be best for your situation. We will talk about building soil, irrigation, and sunlight exposure. From there you will have some guidelines to take back home take a look at where the best spot would be for your garden.

The second session will be all about planning out what you want to plant in the garden. We will talk about both cool weather crops and warm tender veggies and help you to develop a plan to get started.

By the end of the workshop, you will have a plan to start building your very own raised garden this year.
